About GroomFetch
GroomFetch helps dog owners find a mobile groomer, a fully equipped van that comes to your driveway, instead of driving to a salon and leaving your dog for the day.
Why we built this
Searching "mobile dog groomer near me" mostly returns fixed salons, lead-generation forms, and ad-choked lists. If your dog hates the car or panics in a salon, you want one thing: the actual vans that serve your street, with a way to reach them directly. So we built a directory that does just that. Today it covers 3,966 groomers in 1,102 cities across 49 states.
How we check what we publish
We compile candidate businesses from public Google Maps data, then check each one to confirm it is a genuine mobile service, a come-to-you van or trailer, rather than a fixed salon. Most candidates fail: the current dataset started from 27,895 records and only 3,966 passed the check. The full process, including what we cut and why, is on our how we verify listings page.
Our listing standards
- Mobile only. A business appears here only after it is checked as a genuine come-to-you service. Fixed salons are cut, even highly rated ones.
- Every number traces to data. Counts, ratings, and review figures on any page are computed from the dataset or from public Google listings, never estimated.
- No pay-to-play. Listings cannot buy placement, and default ordering follows Google rating and review count.
- Descriptions are ours. We paraphrase what a business publishes rather than copying its marketing text.
- No dead ends. Retired Google "business.site" links are stripped so a listing never points you at a dead page.
Who it's for
- Owners of anxious, reactive, or senior dogs who do badly in a busy salon.
- Anyone comparing local vans on ratings and services before calling for quotes.
- Mobile groomers who want their listing corrected or claimed.
What we are not
We are not a booking platform and we do not take payments or commissions. We are not affiliated with the businesses listed. When you find a groomer you like, you contact them directly. Listing details come from public sources and may be out of date, so always confirm services and pricing with the groomer.
